On behalf of the board of the IPC Foundation, I am delighted to welcome you to the 13th edition of the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians 2026.
This year, we proudly celebrate a significant milestone: 25 years since the founding of our competition in 2001. Over the past quarter-century, the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede has earned a strong international reputation. Our success is built on objective judging, a welcoming atmosphere, dedicated guest families, and an independent press jury.
Music transcends all borders, speaking a universal language that is understood worldwide. Through the years, we have witnessed exceptional talents whose achievements in our competition have propelled them toward flourishing professional careers. Many former winners are now familiar names, gracing concert halls and TV programs across the globe. This is a testament to the competition’s lasting impact on the world of music and its vital role in promoting excellence.
