BouwgroepLaying the foundations of the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians Youngsters from all over the world have packed their sheet music into travel bags and suitcases, climbed onto aeroplanes, trains or buses, reset their watches, and arrived in Europe - Enschede in the Netherlands to be precise - to compete in the International Piano Competition. Dozens of host families in the town have offered these young pianists lodging for this week and welcomed them warmly into their homes. During this week, many hundreds of people will fill the Enschede Music Centre to enjoy top musical talent from all corners of the globe. When one considers how many people are proudly involved and identify with the contestants – from family and friends on the home front to host families and the public at large – it is easy to understand why we lend our wholehearted support to this musical event. Our work involves building, we are go-getters. We turn abstract images on paper or in our minds into tangible things. As a result, finding an enthusiastic group of people and businesses or firms affiliated with construction to react positively to the competition management’s request to sponsor this tremendous piano event was not very difficult. We wish the audience and talented pianists in the Enschede Music Centre many hours of unsurpassed musical pleasure. It is with great fulfilment and optimism that we contribute to this event.
